August 21 , 2008 I am currently on vacation because of my wedding this weekend, and will return with gusto on September 8th, after my honeymoon. All orders from the Superstore that are made during this period will be filled upon my return. Wish me luck! August 5 , 2008
My work was just featured in the amazing new book "Juxtapoz Illustration," which profiles 23 multi-faceted artists from around the world that are representative of a modern illustration movement. It's an incredible honor for me to be included in this collection, considering my heroic company and the fact that Juxtapoz, a magazine that I've loved reading for 11 years, published this book. Big Thank Yous to Roger Gastman and to the Juxtapoz crew! Check it out. July 10 , 2008 I just finished a new double-page spread for Tennis Magazine's 2008 U.S. Open preview, up on the Illustration page. Also, the new limited-edition Greyhound print is up and available at G.G. Rubbing. April 15 , 2008 4 new drawings up in the illustration section from Rolling Stone, Baltimore Magazine, Tennis Magazine, and Nickelodeon Magazine. March 12 , 2008 Upper Playground just posted a rad new video promo for the MAN EPIC! t-shirt I designed for them. They definitely hit the nail on the head with the tone, and I think it's totally amazing. There should be a MAN EPIC animated cartoon series, shouldn't there? February 26, 2008 I just added a comic titled "LYLE ALZADO IS DEAD" to the comics page, which was commissioned by Guilt & Pleasure for their 'death' issue. Also, one of my illustrations was accepted into this year's Society of Illustrators Editorial Exhibition, now on display at 128 East 63rd Street in NYC (until March 22.) It's a pretty great show this year. November 12, 2007 I just posted about 10 new drawings in the illustration section and put up some new stuff in the tearsheet gallery.
Here's a link to an interview I did with FORMAT Magazine back in June, and the Tyson desktop backgrounds that are available for download on their site. April 27, 2007 There are a few new drawings for Rolling Stone, Esquire, No Mas, and The Progressive up on the illustration page, a new "Meet Your Maker" tract in the comics section, and a brand new 'tearsheets' section off the illustration page.
October 3, 2006 The No Mas webstore is now open, and has the Tyson prints from Fall Classic for sale! |
